Perhaps when there is more respect shown to our belongings, it may be deemed display worthy, rather than just "clutter" that needs to be stored away.
The little one's play thing, which is always important during the toddler years, takes over the nooks & crannies in the open living space. Sometimes it does help us become more discipline in curating our lives at home.
